Gill’s Tree Service provides professional tree removal, tree trimming and pruning, stump grinding, crane-assisted tree removal, lot clearing, emergency tree service, and related tree care services throughout West Michigan, including Holland, Saugatuck, Fennville, South Haven, and surrounding communities. We are a family-owned and operated business based in Fennville, Michigan.
2. Estimates and Pricing
Gill’s Tree Service provides free, no-obligation estimates for tree services. Estimates are based on an assessment of the specific job conditions at the time of the estimate and are subject to change if job conditions differ from what was assessed. Final pricing is confirmed before work begins. Our minimum service charge is $300 per visit. Online price calculator results are estimates only and do not constitute a binding quote.
3. Text Messaging and Communication Consent
By providing your phone number to Gill’s Tree Service — whether through our website contact form, by phone, by text message, or in person — you agree to receive text messages (SMS and MMS) from Gill’s Tree Service. These messages may include:
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Estimate and quote follow-ups

We will make every reasonable effort to notify you in advance of any schedule changes. Emergency tree service is provided on a first-come, first-served basis and is prioritized based on urgency and safety.
6. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. For insurance-related work, the property owner is responsible for payment; we can provide documentation to support your insurance claim.
7. Liability and Insurance
Gill’s Tree Service is fully licensed and insured with general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. We are responsible for damage caused by our negligence during the performance of tree services. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions, damage to underground utilities not properly marked, or conditions not visible or disclosed prior to the start of work. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
8. Property Access and Conditions
By scheduling tree services, you confirm that you are the property owner or have authorization from the property owner to request tree work. You agree to provide reasonable access to the work area for our crew and equipment. You are responsible for disclosing any known hazards on your property, including underground utilities, septic systems, irrigation lines, and similar features.
